An old chant made new

On March 7, 2008, in General, by Neil Stevens

They were chanting “Kobe” at the end of the game tonight. Only they weren’t. They were chanting “Coby” to cheer for Coby Karl’s deep three pointer at the end, heh.

119-82 Lakers over Clips, meanwhile the Suns already lost, and the Spurs are *losing* in the fourth quarter in Denver. 4 games up on the Suns, and if the Nuggets hang on, the Lakers will be 0.5 games up on the Spurs (but tied in the loss column).

For the first time in a few years, the NBA holds my interest better than spring training.
