Bad sign for me?

On December 27, 2006, in General, by Neil Stevens

When Frank Deford seems to agree with me on NBA fights and has to rely on a charge of racism to get there, I will admit it shakes a little bit my confidence in my position.

Well, on the other hand, maybe it shouldn’t. It’s the press, not the public, that I’m criticizing. And if there’s one thing we know about the mainstream press, it’s that they’re frequently mainstream Democrats. And if there’s one thing we know about mainstream Democrats, is that they often do their best to draw and sharpen ‘race’ lines in a misguided attempt at equality. They’re as ‘race’ conscious as they are ‘class’ conscious.

So maybe Deford has a point, if only about his own profession.
