Nets 93, Lakers 99

On November 27, 2006, in General, by Neil Stevens

A game of two parts last night, but fortunately for the Lakers their good half was the second half, and the bad quarter was the first.

What was nice about this game was the balanced attack. Odom, Walton, Parker, Bryant, Brown, and Farmar all cracked double figures in scoring, and Kobe’s 10 assists showed that after the sloppy, disorganized first quarter, he was ready to be the playmaker.

Bynum watch: 3 points, 3 blocks, 2 assists, 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. Again four fouls though. He’s getting whistled like a rookie, thanks to his getting virtually no time last year.

It also doesn’t help Andrew’s minutes that Kwame Brown is looking better again. I like the way he blocks shots: softly, so that his teammates can grab the ball and run with it.
