Republican Leadership

On November 17, 2006, in General, by Neil Stevens

Am I bothered very much by the unfortunate failure of the Republican House membership to elect Pence and Shadegg their leaders? Not really.

It’s not the end of the world, and it’s not just a holdover of the same leadership. Hastert is gone, and I’m content to sit back and see what Boehner can do on his own.

Besides, until we nominate a successor to President Bush, he’ll suck all the air out of the Republican room anyway.
