Clippers 101, Lakers 105

First place!

What an odd game. Kobe scored 20 in the first quarter, but then foul trouble, fatigue, and a better team held him to 20 in the next three quarters after that. The team cracked 100 points despite only 37% shooting, making up for that by hitting 31 of 46 free throws.

Bynum hit some foul trouble early, too, but Kwame Brown made up for it with possibly his best game of the year: 10 points, 14 rebounds, and a block. We’ll take it, especially since Mihm’s out.
